A preserved medieval town, the village is one of the "most beautiful villages in France". It was also ranked seventh favorite village of the French in 2014.

For amateurs (and others), a small climb of 300 steps awaits you, and you will find yourself facing an old medieval fortress dating from before the 11th century.

The 12th century St Adrian church

In the second half of xii century, the fortified castle was built on this high limestone promontory ; he thus took advantage of the natural defense constituted by the very marshy valley at that time and ensured an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. A first enclosure surrounded the flat top of the hill ; it had the shape of a triangle 300 meters on a side, was fortified with towers and a postern at the entrance.
